Quality Engineer

£50,000 - £60,000, 25 days + bank holidays, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. Wellbeing 360 and Enhanced Pension.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Bridgwater.

You’ll play a key role in improving product quality, strengthening process control and supporting customer relationships across a fast‑paced operation.

  • Role & Responsibilities
  • Act as the main quality contact for customers, resolving issues and aligning expectations.
  • Lead investigations into complaints and non‑conformances, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support customer audits, supplier quality discussions and cross‑functional problem‑solving.
  • Maintain process risk assessments and implement controls to reduce defects.
  • Analyse quality data and support continuous improvement and NPI activities.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality roles.
  • Strong background in non‑conformance investigation and corrective action.
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or similar standards.
  • Skilled in problem‑solving, data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Organised, proactive and confident working with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain.
