We're looking for an experienced NCR Facilitator to support a large, complex infrastructure project within a highly regulated environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating processes, working with a wide range of stakeholders, and making sure actions don't stall or fall through the cracks. The position is offered on an initial 7‑month contract, inside IR35, with a hybrid working model (typically 2 days per week on site, remainder remote). There is potential for extension.

About the Role

This role focuses on the management and coordination of Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs). You'll track NCRs through their lifecycle, support meetings, follow up actions, and ensure responses are delivered within agreed timeframes. It is not a technical engineering role. The emphasis is on process, organisation, and communication rather than writing or resolving technical NCRs yourself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and manage NCRs through electronic systems (e.g. CCIS / SWITCH).
  • Monitor progress across multiple contracts and stakeholders.
  • Chase actions and responses to agreed deadlines (21 / 28‑day targets).
  • Support and attend NCR meetings and Quality Exception Panels.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and upload records.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly NCR status reports.
  • Highlight overdue items, risks, and trends to stakeholders.
  • Support users with NCR system access and basic process queries.
  • Escalate issues where procedures or timelines are not being followed.
  • Support continuous improvement of NCR processes and reporting.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Experience coordinating NCRs, quality issues, or compliance processes.
  • Strong organisational and follow‑up skills.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with project teams, suppliers, or third parties.
  • Comfortable running meetings, taking minutes, and managing actions.
  • Proactive, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment (home, site, and office locations).

Desirable

  • Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems or NCR tools.
  • Nuclear or other highly regulated project experience.
  • Good IT skills (Excel, reporting tools, Power BI).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Why This Role?

  • Long‑term infrastructure project with structure and stability.
  • Clear scope focused on coordination rather than technical delivery.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Opportunity to work with experienced teams in a regulated environment.
  • High visibility role supporting quality and compliance.

If you enjoy keeping processes on track, coordinating across teams, and ensuring quality issues are properly managed, this role could be a great fit.

Please note that applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We cannot provide visa sponsorship.

We celebrate and support diversity and are committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants.
