HRGO Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team. This role is essential for ensuring that the public spaces are well-maintained, safe, and presented to a high standard for the community to enjoy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in carrying out essential ground's maintenance work across our client's sites.

General Duties:

  • Carry out grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming to maintain parks, open spaces, and recreational areas.
  • Ensure general site tidiness to keep public spaces clean and welcoming.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including planting, weeding, and seasonal upkeep.
  • Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in safe working order.
  • Collaborate with other teams on maintenance projects and general site upkeep.

Requirements:

  • A full, valid driving licence is essential.
  • Ability to carry out physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • A responsible and safety-conscious approach to work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
