We're partnering with a niche and ambitious manufacturing business in Bridgwater who are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller who can play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities- Produce accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines.
- Deliver weekly and monthly financial performance reporting to senior management.
- Maintain full control of P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting.
- Produce rolling financial forecasts and cashflow projections.
- Monitor company profitability by customer, project, and production area.
- Own and manage annual budgeting processes.
- Monitor BOM costing accuracy and inventory valuation.
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager.
- Strong manufacturing or engineering sector experience.
- Advanced budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong cashflow management experience.
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO-regulated environments.
- CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification.
- 28 days holiday (Xmas shutdown 3-5 days).
- Pension.
