Role Purpose
To carry out cleaning operations of Homes in Somerset run accommodations and halls.
Accountabilities

Responsibilities
- Work as part of a building cleaning team – work as part of a team, and on own initiative to coordinate the cleaning operations across Homes in Somerset accommodations and halls to the specification set by the Supervisor.
- To carry out quality cleaning tasks – conduct all cleaning functions to the standard and specification as set out by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Work in a polite and helpful manner, consulting with colleagues, staff, and visitors.
- Manual handling duties such as removal of rubbish and recycling, vacuuming, dusting.
- Cleaning of Kitchen areas and Toilets to a high standard.
- Understand Council assets – have and demonstrate an understanding of Council assets, maintaining confidentiality, having a professional approach, and conducting day to day cleaning functions with minimal disruption to tenants, members of the public and building users.
- Reporting of any issues – identify and report to the Cleaning Supervisor any areas of concern, identified damage/repairs reported promptly and accurately. Report any issues with cleaning equipment.
