Hours: 40 hours per week, with weekend coverage required on a 1 in 4 rotation
Location: Bridgnorth
The role:
- Responsible for operating and maintaining booster sites, pumping stations, water treatment facilities, and tanks both indoors and outdoors.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards such as tank cleaning, receiving chemical deliveries, and inspection of booster sites.
- Travel to other booster sites and ensure they are operating correctly.
- Personal responsibility for the care and maintenance of assigned equipment.
- General grounds maintenance and landscaping.
- Operating our sludge works, a critical part of our treatment process.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders including members of the public and customers.
You will be part of a small team working in a rotating weekend working pattern including some bank holidays.
What you’ll need:
- A valid UK driving licence for travel throughout the West Midlands region.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to the role are highly valued.
- Effective organisational skills are essential to manage equipment and time efficiently.
- A desire to learn and a driven attitude towards work.
- Desirable skills include grounds maintenance experience, mechanical fitter and hands-on experience "on the tools."
- Basic IT proficiency is also required.
Essential training will be provided which will help you gain the confidence within the operational area.
