Orridge is one of the leading stocktaking providers to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking means counting stock, which for us happens in a retail or pharmacy location. Our stocktake teams do this by scanning the barcodes of each product using Orridge equipment and our unique stocktaking system. During and after the stocktake the resulting data is used to provide our customers with valuable information.
We have vacancies for Stocktake Supervisors in our South West region. Our stocktake supervisors manage each stocktake from start to finish, which includes:
- Leading the stocktake team.
- Making sure the service is being carried out as required.
- Working with the store team.
- Providing reports to the store from the Orridge system.
We seek from applicants:
- Previous first line supervisory or management experience (5 staff).
- Attention to detail - the accuracy of our stocktakes is our priority.
- The drive to achieve customer targets - we have to deliver the service productively.
- Excellent customer service skills and good communication, verbal and written.
- The ability to work calmly in a demanding workplace while delivering on customer expectations.
- Flexibility, as part of a team of stocktake supervisors that provides for a changeable workload.
- A full driving licence / own car (no more than 6 points).
We can offer you:
- Competitive starting pay.
- Minimum 6 hours pay per day.
- A higher pay rate (performance based) from day 1.
- Career progression opportunities.
- Fortnightly pay.
- Paid travel expenses.
- Flexible working hours, to suit your lifestyle.
- Up to 48 hours work per week.
This is a casual contract. Full, paid training will be provided. The role often requires afternoon/evening work and can require early morning work - for this reason applicants must be at least 18 years of age. A stocktake supervisor spends a lot of time on their feet and some use of ladders is involved.
