We are seeking a qualified counsellor to work with children and young people within Bridgend County Borough school venues. The counsellor will require an in-depth knowledge of evidenced based approaches to improving emotional wellbeing of children and young people in Bridgend. The successful candidate will possess the drive to improve sustainable outcomes for children and young people facing multiple and complex difficulties.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post. A valid driving licence is a requirement for this post. The council’s Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post. This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.
