Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour

Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 30 hours per week (Sunday to Thursday)

Shift times: Between 7am–4pm—your evenings are yours!

Job Summary: Aramark UK is hiring a General Service Assistant to join our dedicated team at HMP Parc. In this front‑of‑house role, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations—serving food and drinks, operating tills, maintaining clean and welcoming dining areas, and supporting both front and back‑of‑house teams. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service and report directly to the on‑site General Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve food and beverages while ensuring top‑tier customer service and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Operate tills, handle payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Keep dining and service areas clean and well‑stocked, supporting both front and back‑of‑house operations.
  • Upsell products and ensure smooth service delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in customer‑facing or food service roles is a plus—but full training will be provided.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, with residency for the past 5 years.
  • Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
