The Opportunity
Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Chef Supervisor to join our catering team at HMP Parc, Bridgend (CF35 6AP). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated chef ready to step into a leadership role. You’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day kitchen operation, supervising a team of chefs and working alongside enhanced inmates, helping to ensure the unit runs smoothly, safely and efficiently.

- Full‑time role - 35 hours per week Monday to Sunday working pattern, with alternate weekends off
- Daytime shifts between 7am and 6pm your evenings stay yours - £14.66 per hour

A Day in the Life
- Supervising and supporting chefs and enhanced inmates to deliver meals three times a day
- Preparing and serving quality food within a pre‑ordered menu structure
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and compliance
- Completing relevant paperwork and due diligence accurately
- Supporting a positive kitchen culture and confidently managing challenges when they arise
- Completing any required training to support the role.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- UK residency for the past 5 years with legal right to work
- Ability to pass full DBS and security vetting
- Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach
