Site Supervisor and Curriculum Technician at Gwernyfed High School, Powys. Grade 6 | 37 hours per week (full time, rota basis) SCH158. Grade 6 - £28,142 pa FTE.
Key responsibilities
- Take real pride in maintaining high standards and creating environments where young people can thrive.
- Lead and support the cleaning and caretaking team.
- Maintain a safe, secure and welcoming school environment.
- Manage repairs, maintenance and site presentation.
- Support health and safety compliance across the site.
- Act as a key holder and respond to out-of-hours issues where required.
- Drive the school minibus when needed (training provided).
- Provide technical support to curriculum areas, especially Design and Technology (approx. 20% of the role), including maintaining equipment and supporting practical learning.
Required qualifications and experience

- Is flexible, reliable and well organised.
- Has experience in site maintenance, caretaking, or a similar role.

- A full UK driving licence (desirable).
