Established in 2012, Grape Tree currently has 195 stores in the UK. We are looking to recruit confident and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistants to represent our company in our brand‑new Brecon store.
Role Overview
As a Retail Sales Assistant you will provide fast, efficient, pleasant and unrivalled customer service. You will ensure the store is well stocked, clean and tidy, leaving customers with a lasting positive impression.
Responsibilities
- Operate the till in accordance with company instructions and manager direction.
- Provide the highest possible standard of customer service.
- Ensure shelves are well stocked, faced up and maintained at all times.
- Assist with the maintenance of high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety throughout the store.
- Observe company rules at all times and report any breaches.
- Co‑operate with all colleagues to ensure smooth running of the store.
- Work flexible hours as the store operates Monday to Sunday.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, ideally with experience in food retail.
- Good cash handling skills.
- Organised & practical, with a hands‑on attitude.
- Previous experience as a Retail Assistant, Food Retail, Supermarket, Store Assistant, Customer Service, Convenience Store, Sales Assistant etc. is an asset.
