Role Overview

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Chef to join the team at Trenewydd. You will work with the Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist and staff to provide high‑quality, home‑cooked food for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
  • Provide a varied diet, catering for cultural preferences and celebrations/events.
  • Order supplies within the catering budget and policy, using approved suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
  • Participate in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators and Local Authorities.
  • Maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment per Health & Safety standards.
  • Manage the Catering Team.
