Support a young person with autism requiring assistance with social participation.
Responsibilities:
- Transport to and from home for social activities.
- Support initiation of relationships with peers and practice social greetings.
- Introduce the child to new experiences and interests (e.g., catching bus or train).
- Build and maintain a trusting relationship.
- Ensure the health and safety of the child at all times.
- Assist with basic instructions, conversation, and emotional prompting as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Reliable

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
- Experience of supporting young people an advantage
- Knowledge of autism desirable
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle with appropriate insurance

- Subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
- Failure to attend mandatory training may result in offer withdrawal.
- Two satisfactory references may be required upon request.
