As we continue to grow, we are looking for a confident and motivated Telemarketing Executive to join our team and help drive advertising, sponsorship and event sales across our portfolio.

The role is a telephone‑based sales role focused on building relationships and generating new business opportunities within the construction and built environment sectors. You will be speaking with directors, business owners, marketing managers and senior decision‑makers, introducing them to our magazines, digital campaigns, awards, networking events and sponsorship opportunities. No previous construction knowledge is required.

We are looking for someone with confidence, enthusiasm and the ability to build rapport over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Making outbound sales calls to prospective clients.
  • Following up warm leads and marketing enquiries.
  • Promoting advertising opportunities across Design & Build UK.
  • Selling sponsorship opportunities for awards ceremonies, networking events and industry initiatives.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships.
  • Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Booking appointments and arranging follow‑up discussions.
  • Working closely with the sales and editorial teams.
  • Achieving individual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintaining a professional and positive approach at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable speaking with senior decision‑makers.
  • Organised and self‑motivated.
  • Resilient and able to handle objections professionally.
  • Driven by targets and commission opportunities.
  • Previous telesales, telemarketing, sales or customer service experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
