The Bolton Autism Post Diagnostic Team is a small specialist team which provides post‑diagnostic support for adults with a diagnosis of Autism. Our work is relational, values‑led and our administrator is absolutely central to making that happen.
You’ll work closely with clinicians in a supportive, collaborative team where your contribution is visible, valued and impactful. Your role directly supports autistic adults at a key point in their lives. What you do genuinely matters.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality, efficient and confidential administrative support to the Bolton Autism Post Diagnostic Team.
- Support the full patient journey, including referral processing, triaging updates, appointment scheduling, discharge letters and report distribution.
- Provide administrative support for team meetings, MDTs, consultations and professionals' meetings.
- Work closely with clinicians, the Team Leader and external partners to ensure that service users receive a professional experience.
- Enjoys supporting a small, specialist team and being a trusted point of contact.
- Is organised, reliable and confident juggling priorities in a calm, methodical way.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality, accuracy and compassion.
- Communicates clearly and sensitively.
- Is comfortable using digital systems and enjoys improving how things run.
- Values inclusion, dignity and neuro‑affirming practice.
The role is 15 hours per week, which can be split over two days or arranged in a pattern that supports work‑life balance. We welcome ideas, improvement and initiative, and encourage your experience and insight.
