To undertake a full range of anaesthetic duties including pre-assessment, anaesthesia and post-operative care.

During the day there will be accompanied lists with Consultant Anaesthetists and an opportunity to work with distant supervision.

To provide advice and treatment as indicated, according to anaesthetic policies.

To liaise with professional colleagues both inside and outside the department to ensure optimum patient care.

To keep adequate and legible records of all consultations or patient contacts.

To provide written reports on patients when required.

In all the above, to have regard for the standards of confidentiality required by statute, custom and good clinical practice.

Accountability to the Clinical Lead.
