The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Possible temp to perm opportunity (career progression opportunities). Monday to Friday covering 37.5 hours per week - 8am start time (some flexibility with earlier start times). Weekend work may be required on very rare occasions (dependent on product launches). On-site role; given both site locations, candidates would need to drive to get there.

Qualifications: Our client would ideally like candidates to have the relevant qualifications listed below; however, there are opportunities to complete qualifications within the role. Experience with food safety and food quality would be desirable. Food Safety certification Level 3 HACCP.

Job Duties/Tasks: The day-to-day tasks and responsibilities can vary. Our client requires a candidate who can take initiative, respond to tasks as they arise, and manage daily responsibilities effectively. The role includes supporting and advising the manufacturing team to optimise day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Product reviews
  • Responding to complaints
  • Incident management
  • Ingredients/packaging
  • Managing bills of materials (ensuring accurate recipes)
  • Document control/management to ensure compliance for audits
  • Health & Safety
  • Escalating issues and maintaining high standards
  • Working collaboratively with wider business functions
  • Administrative work paperwork/documentation checks

Candidate Attributes: Our client is looking for a candidate who is organised, able to take initiative, and has strong IT skills, as the role requires the use of computers and databases. Strong English language skills are also essential. Detail obsessed; nothing gets missed on standards or compliance. Proactive; not just reporting issues, but driving fixes.
