About this job:
Personal assistant / carer required to join the support team for a wheelchair user with a Spinal Cord Injury. No experience necessary. Days and hours to be agreed within a rota with other assistants.
- Mornings for two hours between 8 am and 11 am to help with personal care, washing, dressing and getting up.
- Some domestic tasks including cleaning and laundry.
- Afternoons 4.30 pm to 6 pm to help with domestic tasks and preparing a meal.
- Evenings 9 pm to 10.30 pm to help with personal care and going to bed.
You will need to be able to manage moving and handling tasks with the direction of the client but you do not need experience in care, as training will be provided. Rate of pay from £13.50 per hour dependent upon experience.
