CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis. The client is a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top‑tier services across FMCG and commercial industries. The position is site based in Bolton.
Package
- Competitive salary up to £41,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Core hours Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Training, development and progression opportunities
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
- Install, repair and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers and lighting fixtures
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and circuitry
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
