Brownlow Fold Primary School is seeking an ambitious and inspiring leader to work closely with senior leaders to lead our Pupil Premium provision on a temporary TLR3 basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take on a leadership responsibility. The aim of the role is to make a real difference to outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and contribute to whole-school improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior leaders to lead and implement the Pupil Premium Strategy (2025/2026).
- Monitor progress and attainment of disadvantaged pupils and identify priorities for action.
- Work with leaders to plan, oversee and evaluate targeted academic interventions across EYFS–Year 6, ensuring impact and value for money.
- Support and develop Quality First Teaching, including adaptive teaching, oracy and evidence-informed practice.
- Work with the assessment lead to use assessment and pupil-level data to track impact, close gaps and inform next steps.
- Coordinate specialist and pastoral support for disadvantaged pupils, working with external agencies where appropriate.
- Support strategies to address attendance, wellbeing and behaviour barriers to learning.
- Ensure effective use of Pupil Premium funding and clear accountability.
- Report, review and provide evidence for governors, senior leaders and Ofsted.
- Promote strong parental engagement, ensuring families can access support and learning resources.
- Lead professional areas: ensure all disadvantaged pupils achieve well, make at least good progress from starting points, and fully access the wider life of the school.

- As a teacher with a TLR3, you must have high expectations of yourself and others; have a passion for teaching and learning; be well organised and an excellent communicator; enjoy working as part of a team; attend relevant meetings.
- Demonstrate that you are a strong leader with the skills to motivate the whole school community; have a clear vision, and the ability to work closely with the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team in moving the school forward.
- Be a good role model for professional standards and collaborative culture.
