Location: 383 Wigan Road, Bolton, BL3 4QJ
Pay: £14.48 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part‑time
Working pattern: a mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts with flexibility across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Either Friday after 6 pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. You must be aged 18+ to authorise age‑related sales.
As a Customer Team Leader, you will lead a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store, helping to deliver essential services to the community. Depending on the store, this could involve working in the post office or bakery, supporting online services, or assisting home‑delivery drivers. You will be a key player in making life easier for customers and supporting the growth of Co‑op membership.
Responsibilities- Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
- Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
- Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
- Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
- Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth
- Passion for people and leadership
- The ability to work flexibly and lead by example
- Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential)
