Part time 28 hours per week. Permanent post. We are looking to appoint an individual to work in the Urology team. The role will be to provide administrative support to the medical secretarial team and to also support with audiotyping when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Storage, retrieval and archiving of case notes to support outpatient episodes.
- Customer service, patient registration and data input.
- Maintain knowledge of filing systems and file casenotes in the correct location.
- Use tracking system to locate and request casenotes that are not in main storage areas.
- Update the LE2.2 tracking system to show location and current status of casenotes in relation to document management.
- File confidential information away into the casenotes.
- Retrieve casenotes for consultants, secretaries or nurses.
- Clinical transcription/audiotyping, including transcription of clinical letters.
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated and able to multi-task in a busy administration office.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of people.
- Good IT skills and attention to detail.
- Experience of meeting deadlines in a high-volume workload.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK; not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
