About this job
The 0-19 Public Health Nursing workforce delivers the Healthy Child program and supports children aged 0-19. The post holder will provide efficient and comprehensive admin and clerical support to the 0-19/25 services within the Community Services Division.
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain records, ensuring IT and paper based systems are updated.
- Arrange appointments and maintain accurate appointment systems.
- Order and maintain stationery supplies.
- Record minutes from team meetings.
- Maintain efficient filing systems and ensure copies of letters and documents are filed appropriately.
- Respond to public and staff enquiries by telephone and face-to-face, relaying clear and legible messages.
- Type appointment letters and correspondence upon request.
- Provide clerical support for other teams upon request.
- Receive and action incoming referrals for appointments.
- Ensure patients receive timely and accurate information regarding their appointments.
- Observe personal duty of care in relation to equipment and resources used.
- Deal courteously and efficiently with telephone enquiries, communicating actions to nurses/practitioners as appropriate.
- Liaise with managers and nurses regarding difficulties in offering appointments to patients.
- Gather information as required relating to clients.
- Maintain and utilise electronic systems to support the service and your role.
- Carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the Line Manager.
