This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive Educational Psychology Service and contribute to our Experts at Hand Team in Bolton, the only area of the NW with the highest Area wide inspection judgement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Educational Psychology Service in the delivery of core services in early years, school and college settings, including work with Looked After Children and supporting whole school approaches to SEND through a multi‑agency Experts at Hand Team.
  • Assist with observations, consultations, appropriate assessments, writing reports, delivering training and supporting whole school approaches to SEND.

Prospective Development:

Applicants should have at least a 2:1 Honours Degree in Psychology providing a graduate basis for registration with the British Psychology Society and be willing to commit to working in Bolton until at least September 2027. Applications are invited from candidates who wish to embark on the professional doctorate and qualify as an Educational Psychologist. These posts offer an opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed to apply for the Educational Psychology doctoral training course.
