Our client, a reputable and independent automotive accident repair centre located near Hereford, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer/Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join their expanding team. Duties

  • Complete all vehicle painting, preparation, and light to medium body repairs to the highest standard
  • Fulfil all repair tasks to ensure full customer satisfaction
  • Accurately interpret technical instruction data and use paint mixing schemes effectively
  • Carry out panel repairs, filler work, masking, and refinishing procedures
  • Safeguard customer vehicles and their contents while in the bodyshop
  • Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and quality controls
  • Meet productivity targets while maintaining excellent workmanship
  • Collaborate with the Bodyshop Manager and team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Seek clarification from management when work instructions are unclear or need further detail

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer/Bodyshop Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or proven experience working within a busy accident repair environment
  • Demonstrable competence in vehicle painting and producing high-quality finishes independently
  • Additional skills in preparation, panel repairs, MET, or polishing are advantageous
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong team player with a motivated attitude and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential
