We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (HGV 2) Driver to provide temporary cover for a long-term sickness absence. You will be working with a leading UK metal stockist based in Walsall.
The Role
- Monday to Friday work (3-5 days per week depending on workload)
- Start times between 05:00 - 07:00
- Nationwide deliveries
- Operating flatbed/dropside vehicles
- Securing loads using ratchet straps and sheeting
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous experience with metal/steel deliveries
- Confident in load securing on flatbed vehicles
- Comfortable driving both manual and automatic HGVs
