The Role
Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a committed Youth Offending Service (YOS) Officer to support children, young people, families and caregivers, with the aim of reducing offending and preventing reoffending. You’ll work across the Youth Justice Service and wider Trust to ensure young people access the right interventions, build a pro‑social identity and recover from trauma.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored support to children and young people at risk of offending or reoffending
- Work collaboratively across the Youth Justice Service and partner agencies
- Ensure access to effective, evidence‑based interventions
- Support young people in developing positive behaviours, resilience and future aspirations
