Are you a technical specialist looking to elevate your career in Water Hygiene? A Tier 1 Specialist Consultancy is expanding its operations and seeking a dependable Water Service Engineer. This is a pivotal role requiring a high degree of technical competence in the installation and life‑cycle maintenance of complex water treatment systems across commercial, educational and medical sites.

Core Responsibilities

  • Professional installation, servicing, and repair of Reverse Osmosis (RO) units, UV systems, and Water Softeners.
  • Installation, calibration, and maintenance of Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) and other proportional dosing rigs.
  • Execution of pipework modifications, specifically the removal of dead legs and dead ends to eliminate stagnation and ensure compliance.
  • Fault finding on mechanical components and ensuring all systems operate to ACoP L8 and HSG274 standards.

Technical Essentials

  • Proven experience in the installation and repair of supplementary control measure equipment.
  • Competent in remedial plumbing works related to water hygiene.
  • Full UK Driving License and willingness to work away (typically two nights per week) to support national and southern contracts.

  • Fully paid travel time beyond the first 30 minutes on the road.
  • High earning potential with 1.5x for Saturday/Weekday overtime and 2.0x for Sunday working.
