We are looking for individuals to join our infrastructural team. We are an outdoor cinema that hosts events in various locations. This year we are facilitating an event in Birmingham, and you would need to be available on Wednesday 5th & Thursday 6th August 2026 & Monday 11th August 2026. Experience is not required; however, you will need to be able to lift heavy equipment.

Schedule of Works

  • Day 1 – Perimeter Setup
    • Objective: Secure and define the event space using Heras fencing, mesh, and branded banners.
    • Team Required: 3 People
    • Roles & Tasks
      • Person 1 – Fence Footing Coordinator: Lay out all Heras fence feet in the correct positions around the perimeter.
      • Person 2 & Person 3 – Fence Installers: Erect Heras fencing panels once feet are in place. Attach mesh or banners as required.
      • Person 3 (after assisting setup) switches to Fence Fixer: Secure fencing panels together using clamps and tools.
  • Day 2 – Equipment Installation
    • Objective: Set up all event infrastructure and prepare operational zones.
    • Team Required: Full Installation Crew Consisting of 4 personnel (including a qualified electrician).
    • Please note that you will also take part in the derig phase post each event.
    • Key Tasks
      • Screen Setup: Assemble and position screen(s) in designated location.
      • Chairs: Lay out chairs in alignment with event layout plan.
      • Gazebos: Erect gazebos/tents for various zones (e.g., kitchen, check-in, shade).
      • Kitchen Equipment: Place and arrange all kitchen gear as per layout plan.
      • Delivery Van Unloading: Offload equipment, supplies, and materials from van.
      • Electrical Setup: (Qualified Technician Only): Install and connect all electrical equipment safely and in compliance with standards. Derig all equipment post event.
