The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 € per year.

We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of the Department’s teaching for a period of 36 months – ideally commencing 1 September 2026 and ending 31 August 2029.

Responsibilities

  • Provide teaching and related administrative support across a range of modules potentially at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of our teaching portfolio.
  • Play a role in the development and enhancement of teaching and scholarship activities of the School independently and as part of a team.
  • Develop external links with regional, UK and international bodies such as government agencies, schools, colleges, professional bodies, business and industry as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Good first degree, perhaps a PhD, and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA Institute membership).
  • Teaching qualifications, at least to Fellow of HEA level or equivalent by experience.
  • Desirable industry experience in finance.
  • Prior experience of teaching finance in a UK higher education setting.

Scholarly Expectations

  • Make original contributions to scholarship in the discipline, including publishing in professional journals, textbooks and sharing findings at professional conferences and seminars.
