A highly regarded Global Insurer has a key new opening to join as a Senior Development Underwriter focusing on mid market property and casualty risks. This role will focus on a panel of Brokers across the Midlands with strong relationships already in place.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop relationships with Brokers managing new business quotations and submissions whilst achieving quote targets and conversion aims within business strategy.
- Engage with Brokers regularly on a face to face basis as well as at industry events to drive the performance of this well known and respected brand.
- Have exposure to a variety of complex and interesting accounts with the opportunity to focus on writing high quality business.
- Manage existing business including MTA’s and renewals.
Qualifications
- Extensive property and casualty underwriting experience.
- Although the role is at Senior level, my client will also consider experienced Property & Casualty Underwriters who are ready to take the step up to senior level.

- The expectation is to be in the office 3 days per week, however time spent onsite with Brokers will also be considered as office time.
