Overview
Your new company Hays Education works closely with many schools across the South Birmingham area, providing teaching assistant support on a day-to-day and long-term basis. There is currently a high demand for SEN Teaching Assistants and jobs are available on a temporary and permanent basis, allowing you to work the hours that suit you and your work/life balance.
Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will work with children of specific age groups on a 1:1 or small group basis. You will be required to support each child for the length of time required.
Qualifications
- You must have SEN experience within a childcare environment, including schools, nurseries and social care settings.
- Ideally you have worked with children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Global Delay or those presenting challenging behaviours.
- You must be flexible and committed to supporting the child for the required duration.
