Restful Homes Group are seeking a dedicated Recruitment Officer on a part-time basis (22.5 hrs per week over three days). The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying, attracting and assessing talent across our multi-site care home group. This includes clinical and non-clinical roles such as carers, nurses, domestic, kitchen, maintenance and administrative staff. This key role covers attracting and sourcing candidates, managing the candidate journey from application through to interview and in line with legislative, policies and CQC requirements. You will work closely with Home Administrators and senior management, providing recruitment expertise and hands-on support across all sites.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the recruitment lifecycle for all care home roles across all sites.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment plans to meet staffing requirements across the group by the means of monthly recruitment trackers.
- Proactively attract, identify and source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, referrals and local outreach.
- Place and manage job adverts, ensuring content remains current, competitive and compliant.
- Conduct regular competitor and market research.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns, including advertising campaigns, outreach projects, local engagement activities and job fairs.
- Screen applications, conduct pre-screening interviews and coordinate face-to-face interviews with hiring managers.
- Carry out recruitment and vetting processes in line with ISO standards, CQC requirements and internal policies as required.
- Complete all mandatory pre-employment checks, including DBS checks, references, right-to-work verification and any additional background checks required for specific roles.
- Use recruitment and vetting systems to process applicant information, chase outstanding documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure every applicant file is fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements before interview.
- Prepare and issue offer letters and employment contracts to successful candidates.
- Work closely with managers to ensure a timely, efficient and compliant onboarding process across all care home roles.
- Support new starters through pre-employment and onboarding stages to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain confident, professional communication with applicants, managers, colleagues, external organisations and government agencies.
- Ensure all recruitment records are accurate and managed in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
- Complete additional reasonable tasks as requested by the line manager.

Essential
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer or in a similar recruitment role.
- Experience using a wide range of job boards and professional social platforms (e.g., Indeed, social media).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Professional appearance and approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence & access to vehicle.
