About this job:

SEN Class Teacher (Main Scale /SEN 1 Allowance) – full time, start September 2026. The role supports children aged 4–16 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs across KS1 and KS2 in a primary‑style environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach small classes across KS1 and KS2
  • Plan lessons that differentiate for individual needs and learning capability
  • Prioritise wellbeing, social and emotional health in the classroom
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to create a holistic learning environment where every child matters
  • Enable, recognise and reward progress, even if it is just with a smile
