POST OF INDEPENDENT LIVING MANAGER, JAMES LLOYD ALMSHOUSE TRUST, BOURNVILLE, BIRMINGHAM B30 1RU

Hours: 21 per week. Salary: £19,827 per annum.

James Lloyd Almshouse Trust provides comfortable, convenient, and self-contained accommodation for 31 ladies from 55 years of age within a thriving community that offers them independence and security.

We have a vacancy for a part-time Independent Living Manager who will be responsible to the Directors for the well being of all residents. The successful candidate will be a clear-thinking person who can remain calm in an emergency, and be sympathetic towards the needs of older people. The appointee will be of a helpful disposition, fit and able to assist residents when required.

They will manage, on a day-to-day basis, an Independent Living scheme for older people, and facilitate arrangements for professional workers and other visitors on site, including home carers, health providers and social workers.

Appointment to this post will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
