The L&D Team based in our Birmingham Head Office are looking for a Learning & Development Consultant to join their successful team. This is a varied role that would suit someone with prior experience of teaching, training or recruitment.
The ideal Learning & Development Consultant would need to be:
- Friendly
- Motivated
- Confident
- Positive
- Self-reflective
- Driven
Prior experience and understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel would be ideal as well as a keen eye for designing engaging training material.
Responsibilities:
- Identify challenges and plan to overcome them
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new starters
- Deliver effective induction programs
- Deliver constructive and objective feedback both verbal and written
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through discussions with them and their managers
- Ensure that statutory training requirements are met
- Amend and revise programs as necessary, to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
- Keep up to date with developments in training by taking an active interest in the field of L&D, research industry trends, training strategies & tools
- Have a keen interest in online learning and training design
- Undertake professional train the trainer courses
- Write and create e-learning modules
