Our client, based in Birmingham, is seeking a Leak Detection Technician for a full-time permanent role working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, covering the Midlands and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Visit customer homes
- Use leak detection equipment to locate leak sources
- Carry out moisture surveys
- Arrange customer appointments
- Write up technical reports
- Calibrate equipment
- Repair work to detected leaks once an estimate for works is accepted, including trace and access of hidden pipe work
Qualifications
- Background in plumbing, building and DIY
- Ideally some electrical experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Organized with a positive attitude
