Position Overview
Digbeth location: Birmingham. Job type: Ongoing. Work shift pattern: full and part time/flexible. Days Monday to Friday. Start times 04:00-06:00. Shift length 8-10 hours. Deliveries 3-6 per shift within the food industry delivering meat. No heavy lifting, occasional light handball.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely complete local or distance deliveries.
- Assist with loading/unloading as required.
- Deliver goods with excellent customer service.
- Adhere to health & safety standards and driving regulations.
Benefits & Pay
Pay: £14.50 to £15.00 per hour. Class 2 (C) licence required. Weekly pay (PAYE). 28 days paid annual leave (pro-rata). Pension contributions. Online payslips. Flexible working patterns. Long-term, short-term, ad-hoc supportive and friendly work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid C (Class 2) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical capability to assist with unloading if required.
