Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Waking Nights Support Worker at our service in King's Norton, Birmingham. This is a permanent role, with contracts available for up to 35 hours per week. We are offering Waking Nights Support Workers £13 per hour. The shift patterns are as follows: 4 nights on and 4 nights off.

The 7 people we support live in individual flats within a purpose built home situated in the heart of a vibrant community in Kings Norton with access to good transport links to Birmingham City Centre and local amenities. We are passionate about supporting individuals who are deafblind, have visual and/or hearing impairments, complex needs and learning disabilities. Care is provided around the clock.

As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting with personal care needs during the night and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and record keeping.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

  • Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is desirable (BSL / Makaton etc.).
