Hours: 30 hours per week, full time. This role spans the whole school year with some coverage during school holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of support services to address the social and emotional needs of children and their families.
  • Work directly with primary and secondary aged children, parents/carers and school staff in three schools to deliver tailored interventions that strengthen resilience and improve attainment.
  • Collaborate with schools, health and social care agencies and the voluntary sector to support children and families overcome adversity and disadvantage affecting emotional wellbeing, mental health and educational achievement.

Qualifications

  • Full driving licence and reliable access to a car.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and educational progress.
