About the Business: We are working with a highly respected, long-established manufacturing and shopfitting company delivering bespoke joinery and architectural metalwork for premium, high-profile clients. The Role: This is not a desk-only CAD role. You’ll be involved from first drawing to finished product, working closely with the Works Manager and shop floor to turn architectural concepts into build-ready solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing high-quality 2D & 3D drawings (AutoCAD / Inventor)
- Interpreting architectural drawings and 3D visuals
- Designing with manufacture at the forefront
- Issuing approved drawings directly to production
- Supporting multiple bespoke projects end-to-end
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a CAD / setting out role
- Experience designing for manufacture
- Knowledge of joinery and/or metalwork
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to translate architectural drawings into production-ready documents
Desirable:
- AutoCAD / Inventor experience
- Joinery background
- Proactive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working to deadlines
