About this job:
- Be willing to be involved with and implementation of new developments in clinical neurophysiology.
- Contribute to the discussion on the future development of clinical neurophysiology.

- Support the department in achieving its financial and performance targets.
- The appointed candidate would be expected to work flexibly; this may include off-site working and a hybrid model of home and onsite working.
- The department is located in the New Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
- A comprehensive service is provided to QEHB and surrounding hospitals.
- Techniques currently undertaken include routine Evoked potentials, NCS/EMG, specialist EMG techniques including single fibre EMG, EMG guided Botulinum therapy including spastic dysphonia, pre-operative dystonia assessment, EEG, ambulatory EEG, video telemetry including invasive intra-cranial recording, MSLT, intra-operative corticography, spinal cord monitoring and epilepsy multi-disciplinary assessment.
- The department is involved in various research activities with other specialities.
- The successful candidate will be required to support delivery of quality improvement.
