Cosine are recruiting a Business Development Executive to manage the parcel service across a diverse client base, including independent stores, multiples and well-known symbol stores.

Working on behalf of DPD, 3 days per week. (Flexible on which day to suit you!) Fixed term work starting ASAP Until December 2026 with full training. £19,068 per annum (3 days per-week) plus bonus & mileage paid Ideal Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom, B1 Territory covering: West Midlands and surrounding areas Your typical day as a Business Development Executive would be Planning and managing your own journey plan to make the most of your territory Visiting independent and larger businesses to build strong customer relationships Liaising confidently with decision makers to understand their needs and ensure the parcel service runs smoothly Training teams on how to use the service effectively Identifying opportunities and generating leads within your client base Reporting faults, troubleshooting issues and working with teams to find solutions You are the right person for this role if you are: A confident communicator who enjoys meeting people and building relationships Highly organised and able to plan your own territory and journeys Driven to succeed and able to deliver your KPIs Confident influencing and engaging with people at all levels Proactive and comfortable working independently Innovative and prepared to challenge the status quo Able to deliver effective training and communicate information clearly Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines Experience in sales, customer service, account management or a field-based role would be an advantage, but we're more interested in your ability to build relationships, communicate effectively and take ownership of your territory.
