- About this role
Hays and Birmingham City Council are looking for a Business Support Administrator to support the Street Scene Team.
The role is fully on‑site at the Tyseley depot and involves ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, supporting frontline services and coordinating service requests.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports for the Street Scene service.
- Coordinate and process service requests from internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support day‑to‑day administrative tasks to enable efficient delivery of frontline services.
- Handle sensitive information confidentially and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Highly organized, proactive and customer‑focused with experience in business or administrative support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and the public.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Committed to delivering excellent service and contributing positively to the Street Scene Team and the wider Council.
