The post holder will lead and manage the extensive clinical governance, wider governance and assurance programme across Children and Families Division, which includes a wide range of projects and workstreams relating to risk management, health & safety, patient safety, information governance and the Care Quality Commission Standards of Quality and Safety.
The post-holder will lead, plan, support, facilitate and monitor progress of governance projects and has responsibility for the design, development and delivery of associated in-house training.
The post holder will lead on developing and maintaining the Children and Families Divisions risk assessments, risk register and incident reporting systems.
The post-holder will manage the Children and Families Division complaint systems in line with NHS and Trust legislation, policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBLE FOR- Human Resources: Line management of Clinical Governance Manager, Clinical Governance Facilitator and Clinical Governance Coordinator, as well as ad hoc temporary support staff and apprenticeships.
- Finance: Budget manager for clinical Governance budget with a value of approximately £200,000.
