The Adult Specialist Rehabilitation (ASR) Division are seeking a highly experienced, resilient and motivated Assistant HR Business Partner to support our fast‑paced team. The successful candidate will be a key contact for operational managers, travelling across divisional sites to deliver proactive HR services and support organisational change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive HR support to operational managers within the ASR Division, supporting complex casework, sickness absence caseload and on‑site HR clinics.
- Support policy development, Agenda for Change implementation and embed a “Just and Learning Culture”.
- Promote the Trust’s Equality and Inclusion agenda and manage conduct under the Disciplinary Policy.
- Deputise for the HR Business Partner as required.
- Manage a small team of Senior HR Advisors and provide day‑to‑day support.
- Analyse and present HR data in monthly reporting.
- Operate effectively in an environment of rapid change, conflicting priorities and a full range of HR policies and employment legislation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CIPD qualified or equivalent, with relevant generalist HR experience.
- Extensive operational HR knowledge and proven ability to deliver on targets.
- Excellent organisational, communication and data‑presentation skills.
- Expertise in HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Ability to travel to multiple divisional sites and work flexible hours; remote working is not suitable.
Desirable Attributes
- Experienced in managing a small HR advisory team.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing conflicting priorities.
