Longbridge CMHT is looking for a Duty worker to support the team in managing the busy CMHT duty system for part of the role, and managing a small caseload for the other part. The successful individual will work with a dedicated and hardworking team to provide care for individuals who are in crisis or in need of urgent intervention, working across CMHT in supporting caseload needs. The post holder will act as an independent practitioner within a defined community setting, while liaising with other professionals as necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within agreed parameters.
- Maintain working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation governing service provision and audit.
- Ensure effective communication pathways exist.
- Promote equality, diversity and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
- Identify and contribute to training needs necessary to provide quality evidence‑based care.
