We are looking for full‐time Activity Workers to join our team to deliver high quality activity provision to our patient group. The posts will be based at Mary Seacole House Ward 1, supporting service users at different stages of their journey in an acute setting. This includes providing therapeutic activities on a daily basis and contributing to the activity programme within Ward 1. We are looking for individuals who are innovative and can think outside the box when working with service users who may present with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
Responsibilities
- Organise a timetable of activities for groups and individuals on the ward.
- Motivate and engage service users, promoting inclusion and communication.
- Provide therapeutic activities daily and support the ward's activity programme.
- Work flexibly, including out‐of‐hours, to ensure patients remain active across seven days.
