As an Associate HR Business Partner, you will support the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in delivering effective people solutions aligned to business needs. You will contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and practices, with a particular focus on areas of specialism such as litigation, casework, policy, or organisational design. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the People Directorate and the wider organisation to ensure consistent, fair, and effective HR support that enhances organisational performance and employee experience.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Work with HRBPs in delivering people plans, projects and supporting business areas with HR interventions.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers, ensuring consistency, compliance and positive customer experience.
- Support the implementation of change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE, and organisational design.
- Provide partnering support to frontline leaders through regular engagement to understand key business performance issues, objectives and drivers.
- In collaboration with the HRBPs, support frontline leaders to develop people plans to deliver business objectives.
1 of the 3 roles will have line management responsibilities; great line management is important to us as an organisation, and we will equip and support line managers to develop the skills they need. We aim to empower line managers to create teams where people can flourish and deliver excellent outcomes for the public.
